Black Titanium, also known by the brand name Black Ti™, is a revolutionary new twist on an amazing metal. While many other materials are colored by plating them with another material such as gold, black titanium is actually formed by changing the chemical composition of the titanium itself. It is comprised entirely of rare earth and strategic elements, as well as extremely small amounts of trace elements. Due to the rarity of the alloy materials, black titanium is much more costly than normal titanium. As with regular titanium, the alloy materials are inert and hypoallergenic.
